The Full Moon occurs March 9, 2020 at 1:48pm. It is a Super Moon which means that it is closer to the earth and therefore appears larger to us as well as has a bit more influence. The Full moon occurs at 19 degrees of Virgo.
The Full moon deals with emotions and what we need to release. This would be a great moon to let go of bad eating habits, or unhealthy things that no longer serve your purpose. Virgo also deals with your daily routine and employment. Virgo also rules the digestive system. How do you assimilate and digest information that isn't always comfortable? Instead of letting your mind over analyze every little detail take time to digest how things make you feel.
This earth moon is occurring 10 days before the Spring Equinox. This moon is inviting you to tap into the tangible feeling of the earth element. We have daylight savings time the day before. Soon the sprouts will be coming up. It is time to release all of your heavy energy in order to really be able to feel the shift of the upcoming spring equinox and the fiery energy of the New Moon in Aries later this month.
The Ruler of this Full moon is Mercury and it goes direct on the same day as the Full Moon. Mercury has now moved from the watery sign of Pisces into the sign of Aquarius. Which leads to out of the box thinking and kind of gives a small break from all of the watery Pisces energy. Remember though Mercury will head back into the sign of Pisces but this time it is more of a direct outward energy instead of the inward watery energy.
Mercury doesn't make any other major aspects in the chart. It's kind of hanging out by itself doing it's own thing. It has a lot of power because when a planet goes from Retrograde to Stationary Direct you can feel it's power more strongly.
Venus conjunct Uranus
When Venus and Uranus meet up there can be a sudden change in what you value. Venus rules over finances as well as relationships. You will really appreciate your sense of freedom and won't be happy if others try to squash your ability to have that freedom.
Sun and Neptune Conjunct in the sign of Pisces Opposing the Full Moon
When the Sun and the Moon oppose each other is when a Full Moon occurs. The energy of Pisces and Virgo must find a way to work together. Pisces relating more to spiritual matters and Virgo more of the mundane day to day. How can you find a balance between those two elements in your life.
With Neptune adding its energy to the Sun you may find that you are able to tap into your creative energy easily. Neptune rules over music, art, and spiritual matters. When they are together the you may notice a new spark being ignited. Be careful not to get too caught up in fantasy like thoughts or behaviours. This is where you can use that Virgo energy to ground you and incorporate it into your day to day. Do not fall victim to wanting to escape the day-to-day by engaging in escapist like tendencies.
The Moon Trine Mars, Jupiter, and Pluto
This full moon is having a positive conversation with all of the energy that is occurring in Capricorn. With the trine with Mars it is giving you the energy and courage that you need to move forward in tasks that are important to get done. The trine to Jupiter is making everything feel bigger and more important with a little side of adventure. What can you grow in this earth energy that is presenting itself? The Moon Trine Pluto is encouraging you to tap into your inner power. What really motivates you? Find what that is and use it for your growth and hard work that is needed.
